Youth
An important aspect of health and well-being is involving and educating youth.
Investing in our youth is investing in the future. As part of our community-based approach, AICBR engages youth to be involved with different aspects of the research done in their community. We also provide workshops, and employment opportunities.
Youth participate in a workshop in Old Crow.
During the summer of 2011, AICBR employed two students – Erin Eady (top left) and Felicia Bailey-Cashin (bottom right) - as a key part of the team. Felicia now sits on the AICBR board as its youth representative. Also pictured are Katelyn Friendship, Research Officer (top middle); Jody Butler Walker, Executive Director (top right); and Breanna Blottner, Director of Operations (bottom left).
