Health Minister Announces funding for HPV project

On Thursday, January 26, the Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Minister of Health, will announce the federal funding for Increasing Awareness and Education of the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) in the Yukon project. This project is being led by Dr. Brendan Hanley, Yukon’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, in partnership with the Arctic Institute of Community-Based Research and the Yukon Government’s Department of Health and Social Services. The project will be completed by March 31, 2013.

The announcement will take place in the foyer of the Yukon Government Administration Building at 2pm.
